The Three Of Us Foundation
The Three Of Us Foundation was established by Judy Liff Barker and Joe Barker to create an entity, which would in years to come provide the resources to support the arts, music, education, the environment, and scientific innovation in the area of healthcare and the delivery of health services for the community.
This is intended to be accomplished, not only through the investment of funds, but also through the opportunities to see works of art and the natural environment at the Poplar Creek Preserve, which the Foundation intends to establish in the future. The Foundation represents the combined efforts of the three of us – Judy, Joe and Judy’s late husband Noah Liff. Noah was an entrepreneur who made his fortune in the recycling industry. Judy and Joe have managed these funds together and have developed the concepts that guide the Foundation in its art and environmental activities.

Areas of Interest of the Foundation:
The Foundation looks for opportunities to work with other philanthropic organizations to start new programs and enhance existing programs – especially in the areas of the arts, music, education, environment, and scientific research related to health care. The Foundation is based on the philanthropy that began many years ago by Noah and has been continued by Judy and Joe through today.

Transformational Change
Funding Requests to the Foundation:
The Board of Directors of the Foundation are flexible in receiving funding requests, but require grant application to be for projects that strictly are in compliance with IRS guidelines for 501 (c)(3) organizations. The entity making a grant request must be an existing not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that had been in existence for not less than two full years.
